10 Things To Do On Valentine’s Day Single

So you’ve found yourself single on Valentine’s Day. The actual worst. If you’re a hopeless romantic (like me) looking for a boost this Valentine’s Day – this post is for you! Nicholle and I are teaming up to share 20 ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day as a single girl!

Make sure to check out Nicholle’s post for an additional 10 ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day as a single gal!

1 Write a list

If you’re feeling sad and or/lonely as a single girl on Valentine’s Day it’s time to make a list of the people in your life who do love you. It could be your parents, a sibling, friend, co-worker. You may be surprised how long the list will get. Struggling to write down names? Remember, your puppy counts!

2 Treat yourself to some sweets

Turns out carbs don’t count on Valentine’s Day. Who knew? Now you do! Today is the day to indulge, buy your favorite Starbucks drink, pick up some sour candy, make some home-made cookies. And don’t feel bad about it.

3 Watch a non-rom com

Forget The Notebook. Or any other Ryan Gosling movies for that matter. It’s time to watch that triller or action movie you’ve been eyeing. Need some suggestions? Here are 50 movies without love.

4 Add a self-love wallpaper to your cell phone

Give yourself some extra TLC with a self-love wallpaper for your phone. Think of how many times you open your phone a day. Now think of how many times you’ll be reminded how awesome you are.

5 Take a lavender epsom salt bubble bath

So this is totally cliche right? It may be – but trust me it works wonders. Whether you’re feeling stressed, sad, lonely or just plain pissed off – an epsom salt bubble bath will heal all. I use this epsom salt bubble bath blend (it’s under $5!). For more relaxing ideas, click here!

6 Do something daring

Need a quick dopamine hit? Do something that scares you. Go bungee jumping. Go skiing. Attend that spin class. Text your ultimate crush. Have fun with it and enjoy the rush of happy!

7 Find a galentine

Want a valentine but single AF? Contact one of your single besties and ask them to be your Galentine! Nicholle is my Galentine this year and we ended up having tons of fun (check out my instastories for full shenanigans)

8 Play Tinder roulette

Never heard of it before? Enter Tiktok. It’s one of those things you have to see to understand. Check it out here. It’s fun, adventurous and makes online dating a little less dull.

9 Make mulled wine

There’s something about mulled wine that just feels warm and cozy. I’m making some tonight with Nicholle. Don’t like wine? You can make some tea or chocolate! Sip, sip, horray!

10 Remind yourself you don’t need a man to feel loved

If you’re in your single AF feels (you’re not alone) know you don’t need a man to feel loved. Sure, you may want one. But you are complete and loved just as you are. Promise. Give this blog post a read.
