DIY Coffee Bar
I’m not much of a drinker, but when it comes to coffee I’m all in. So, I decided to make a DIY coffee bar. As usual, I headed to Amazon first for ideas. I found this gorgeous farmhouse inspired sliding door console (under $200) and I knew I could turn it into a coffee bar! It turns out about 95% of my coffee bar is now stocked with Amazon items. I had fun with the styling – and styled it a few different ways depending on what coffee machine you own (we own a Nespresso and a Keurig machine!). Keep reading to see how I put together my coffee bar!
Nespresso Coffee Bar:
I am on a total Nespresso kick right now (after receiving this rose gold embellished Nespresso machine for my birthday!). I love a rick, bold coffee so Nespresso is straight up my alley! As such, I styled a Nespresso only coffee bar for my Nespresso girls!
One of my favorite features of my coffee bar is this glass drawer organizer for Nespresso pods! It is great quality and under $40. It can hold 40 big or 52 small Vertuo capsules. I love how it is see-through! If you drink multiple flavors of Nespresso you can easily select the pod you want. However, I am totally that girl who selects one flavor of coffee and runs with it. Lucky enough, my favorite Nespresso pods just so happen to be a gorgeous gold/champagne shade – matching my black, white and gold themed coffee bar.
To give more of a coffee bar vibe – I added this coffee bar sign (under $20 and available in multiple cute coffee sayings) and this floating shelf (on sale for under $20 right now!). I was in awe of how well it matched with the wood on the coffee bar (they’re different brands). I decorated them with these double walled coffee glasses and 3 of my favorite coffee mugs! I also included this stackable acrylic storage organizer to hold extra Nespresso pods.
Underneath the bar, I added some of my favorite chai latte and white coffee and sugar storage bins (shop similar here). I also used this awesome Nespresso pod holder (hidden by the sliding door). Keep scrolling to the bottom to see it displayed!
Keurig Coffee Bar:
I was gifted this Keurig coffee machine prior to my Nespresso and absolutely love it! A lot of my friends also use and love their Keurig coffee machines so I decided to purchase and style Keurig accessories on my coffee bar cart!
First things first, this rotating Keurig coffee pod holder is epic. I can hold 35 coffee pods and spins 360 degrees so you can select the coffee or beverage of your choosing. I also purchased this k-cup pod storage drawer that can hold up to 36 pods. You simply pull the drawer open to select the k-cup of your choosing. This organizer comes stationary and rolling (I purchased the stationary version) and available for 24 pods, 30 pods or 36 pods. Two major storage wins!
I also purchased this spice/topping container trio and love it! I typically store sugar, cinnamon and maple sugar in the container. It also comes with 3 adorable mini spoons you can keep in the organizer! I also featured a faux vase of roses, coffee bar sign, floating shelf and some of my favorite coffee mugs.
Dueling Coffee Bar:
When two worlds collide – aka a Nespresso machine and Keurig machine both used daily. I am hooked on my Nespresso and my boyfriend opts for the Keurig for his rare cup of coffee.
For this setup I recycled the coffee accessories used above including: this rotating Keurig coffee pod holder, this spice/topping container trio, a faux vase of roses, coffee bar sign, floating shelf and this Nespresso pod holder. I also included some of my favorite mugs including this “comfort & joy” mug and this “tired as a mother” mug.
