Knotted Scarf Hairstyle
Step One: Prep Hair
Any great hairstyle begins with hair care. If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you’ll know I’m all about keeping your hair as healthy as possible. If you have long and/or bleached hair this step is extra important! A common misconception is that you don’t have to moisturize your hair during the hot summer months. On the contrary, moisturized hair gives you a better chance of beating the humidity! Lately, I’ve been using my Nexxus Therappe Shampoo and Humectress conditioner to keep my hair looking (and smelling!) great.
Step Two: Position Scarf
In order to re-create this look, you’ll need a scarf big enough to wrap around your head and tie into a knot. Once you’ve found the perfect scarf, wrap it around your head and bring it to the front. You’ll want it to sit in the middle of your face.
Step Three: Tie Scarf
Tie your scarf in one knot to secure it. You’ll want to secure the knot tight enough to ensure it won’t move, but make sure it’s comfy!
Step Four: Form Knot
Once your scarf is tied, tuck the ends to form a knot. Afterwards, tug gently on the outsides of the knot to create volume. Adjust to your preference.
