My Daily Makeup Picks
Calling all beauty lovers! This one is for you. I’ve been asked about the makeup products I use on the regular -and today I’m spilling! I would highly recommend any of these products! I’ve repurchased most of these items several times with my own money. For reference, I have normal-dry skin.
Foundation: Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation in 2W1 Dawn, $46
Ever since I tried out this foundation – I haven’t found any other full coverage foundations that compare. For those of y’all who want full coverage that actually stays on (kiss proof) – this is the one! I’m obsessed. I’ve been using it for 3 years and don’t plan on stopping any time soon. Just make sure to apply a moisturizer before!
Concealer: Tarte Shape Tape Concealer in Light Neutral, $30
My cousin Ashley introduced me to this concealer years ago and I haven’t found a concealer that compares! I’ve tried tons of other drugstore and high end concealers but I always find myself coming back to this concealer! It is truly full coverage. I apply it to my under eyes, eyelids, above my cheek bones and on any blemishes. I then apply foundation and it blends beautifully! Stays all day.
Bronzer: Charlotte Tilbury Bronze & Glow Contour Duo, $29
Charlotte Tilbury is one of my favorite makeup brands. Not only is their packaging gorgeous (I mean stunning) their products are superb quality. The Bronze & Glow Contour Duo was one of my first purchases and it got me hooked on the brand! The bronzer is a gorgeous matte and long lasting. It gives a subtle contour and I’m obsessed!
Highlighter: Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette in 001 Universal, $45
I received this palette for Christmas and I love it! It gives the perfect highlight. With this palette – a little goes a long way so it is long lasting. I love applying it right above my cheekbones, on the bridge of my nose and underneath my brow bone to make my eyes pop!
Face Palette: Charlotte Tilbury Super Nudes Nudegasm Bronze, Sculpt & Glow Face Palette, $75
This palette is definitely a splurge, but I’m straight obsessed. This palette contains two shimmer highlighters and two matte bronzers. I find myself mixing all 4 shades together when applying on my face! The application is great and stays on your face all day. The shimmer packs a pretty punch and instantly makes you look refreshed!
Liquid Eyeliner: Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner In Jet Black, $23
The struggle to find an amazing black liquid eyeliner is real. This is one of the only liquid eyeliners I find has high pigment, doesn’t run and comes with a great velvety applicator. I am currently out and using another black liquid eyeliner and am reaping the consequences! Must make another Stila eyeliner purchase ASAP!
Mascara: Rare Beauty Perfect Strokes Mascara, $20
I first discovered this mascara through a sample I received at Sephora! I instantly fell in love. It lengthens and volumizes your eyelashes with absolutely no fallout. The soft applicator is thick applicator brush and hugs your eyelashes perfectly. I highly recommend it!
Eyeshadow: Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerize Cream Eyeshadow in Rose Gold and Champagne, $34
Lately I’ve been one a liquid eyeshadow kick. I find myself grabbing a shimmer cream eyeshadow over a traditional eyeshadow palette most days. The Charlotte Tilbury cream eyeshadow collection has the most beautiful shades that make your eyes glow. It’s the perfect subtle glow. I own rose gold and champagne and highly recommend them both! Great staying power and they don’t crease (I always put concealer on my eyelids for a base).
Lip Balm: Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm in Vanilla Beige, $23
I’m obsessed with the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask (worth every penny) so I’ve been trying out several other products in their line. One product I adore is their new lip butter balm
Lipgloss: Dior Addict Stellar Lip Gloss in 354 Diorsolight and 640 J’Adior, $32
This is definitely my favorite makeup find of 2021! I purchased it on a whim when placing a Sephora order. Not only does it feel incredible on your lips (not sticky, more of a buttery moisturizing feel) it smells and tastes amazing. The two shades I use give off a ‘your lips but better’ effect. I carry one in my purse everywhere I go! I’m not one for a shimmer lipgloss, but I recently picked up 630 D-Light and am obsessed!
Nude Lipstick: MAC Lipstick in Yash, $29
This is my go-to nude lipstick! While I’m still hooked on MAC Honey Love and MAC Velvet Teddy I’ve been gravitating towards Yash! It is the perfect ‘your lips but better’ shade! I keep it in my purse with me. It smells great, applies evenly, is extremely pigmented (a little goes a long way) and has great staying power.
Red Lipstick: MAC Liquid Lipstick in Fashion Legacy, $22
Finding a great red lipstick can be tricky. You definitely don’t want your red lipstick migrating. This liquid lipstick is great in that when it dries – it doesn’t budge. The red hue also has a blue undertone meaning it will make your teeth appear whiter! There’s nothing like a yellow toned red lipstick that make your teeth look…well, yellow. My one critique is it can be drying so using a hydrating lip balm beforehand is essential. You can also apply a coat of clear or shimmer lipgloss for a glossy finish!
Eyebrow Pencil: Benefit Waterproof Brow Pencil in Cool Soft Black, $24
This eyebrow pencil has been a long time favorite! It applies easily and stays all day. I do find the shades are light – I have medium-dark brown and use Cool Soft Black to match my hair. I love how it has a brush on the dual end!
Brow Gel: Wander Beauty Frame Your Face Brow Gel in Dark Brown, $22
I discovered this brow gel last year and I love it! Super easy to apply, extremely pigmented and sets your brows perfectly! I love the packaging and will definitely be re-purchasing!
