Updating your home decor seasonally or even annually can cost a pretty penny. However, if you’re looking for a way to freshen up your living space without breaking the bank is to re-style your coffee table(s). A few new additions including a marble or mirrored tray, paired with a candle, vase of flowers and/or 1 or 2 aesthetically pleasing books is enough to bring new life to your space. Today I’m sharing my favorite coffee table books I have scattered throughout my apartment (on my coffee table, bed side tables and in my closet) for an added chic touch. Keeping reading to see my favorite coffee table books!
1. The Fashion Book by Phaidon Editors
One of my oldest coffee table books is The Fashion Book. Not only does it have the perfect pop of pink, it includes a history of the fashion world – from pioneering designers to influential photographers. The book is filled with colorful and powerful images of the development of the fashion industry.
2. Kate Spade New York: All In Good Taste by Kate Spade
One of my favorite coffee table books of all time. Not only is the exterior stunning, the interior contains a guide to all things entertaining. This book includes tips on hosting, manners, home decor styling and recipes, inspirational quotes and more. It’s timeless and a stunning compilation of the Kate Spade lifestyle.
3. Simple Acts of Kindness: 500+ Ways to Make a Difference by Annie F. Downs
This beautifully written book contains inspirational and helpful ways to help and happiness to those around you. Annie F. Downs includes 100+ simple ways to spread joy from calling your grandparents to say hello to smiling at a stranger. Trust me, this is a must read book. It also has a stunning exterior – perfect as a coffee table accent!
4. Vogue on Yves Saint Laurent by Natasha Fraser-Cavassoni
If you’re a fashion enthusiast like me, you will love Vogue on Yves Saint Laurent by Natasha Fraser-Cavassoni. This stunning book contains an original biography of Yves Saint Laurent along with 80 images from the archives taken by leading photographers. This book is beautifully written and contains must see photos!
I remember being so excited to purchase this must-read book on all things Instagram and content creation. One of my favorite bloggers, Tessa Barton, wrote a guide on to achieve the Instagram content of your dreams and achieve success as an influencer. Her beautifully creative mind will inspire you to capture thought provoking, original content you’ll be proud of!
One of my best friends gifted me this book as a “apartment warming” gift. It’s just lovely. This visual diary is stunning – lots of bright, bold colors, gorgeous photography and practical advice on fashion and life. Each page tells a story of the colorful Kate Spade as a brand.
7. Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur
If you’re a fan of poetry – this book is gorgeous. The poems are emotional and heartfelt and deal with topics such as pain and healing. It also contains imagery that connects to each poem. It’s a must have.
