How To Build Your Own Custom Closet
Today I’ll be diving deeper into details of my DIY custom closet closet and the organizers I used to display the clothing and accessories I love!
Closet Details:
My closet is the IKEA Pax system. I chose it because you can customize every aspect of the closet. It offers an option with doors as well as an open concept (without doors) like mine for a boutique feel. I ripped out my existing closet doors and clothing racks and placed two IKEA Pax frames inside. I love the way it turned out! I used:
My closet contains the following 2 frames:

1x KOMPLEMENT Clothes Rail (39 3/8″)
This frame includes a clothing rail to display some of my favorite clothing items. I love this clothing rail! So far it’s been very sturdy.
2x KOMPLEMENT White Shelf (39 1/2×22 7/8″)
One at the top directly above the clothing rack to display bags and shoes and the other at the base of the dresses.
2x KOMPLEMENT White Drawer With Glass Front (39 1/2 x22 7/8″)
Two drawers with glass fronts to display my shoes! I love how these drawers give a boutique feel.
2x KOMPLEMENT White Drawer (39 1/2×22 7/8″)
Every drawer can’t be spotless and organized 24/7 so I included two drawers underneath the glass front drawers (the photo cuts them off at the base) to throw accessories in!

I used two shelves to display bags and shoes on the top.

1x KOMPLEMENT Pull-Out Tray, White 29 1/2×22 7/8″
Underneath, I opted for a glass shelf with a pull out tray underneath displaying some of my go-to fashion and beauty accessories including my blue light blocking glasses, gold love bracelets, Charlotte Tilbury Bronzer Palette, Gisou hair oil, hair clips, gold drop earrings, gold pineapple tray, MAC liquid lipsticks and more!

I included another drawer with a glass front to display some of my favorite accessories.

Finally, another white drawer to stash odds and ends.
