What does one wear to church? More specifically, what does one wear to church when it’s hot as heck outside? Living in Florida, this is a weekly dilemma. Modesty is key when dressing for church – but when it’s 90+ degrees outside ya girl isn’t wearing pants and a blazer. During the summer months, I prefer wearing dresses to keep me cool. However, when it comes to dresses, I typically have a hard time finding dresses that are an appropriate length. At 5’10, I either need to go up 1-2 sizes or have my caboose on display. I recently found a line of dresses specifically for us tall girls, so whether you’re petite, regular or tall – this guide is for you! Today I’m sharing 10 church going dresses for summer. Don’t go to church? No worries! These dresses can be worn to any event that requires modest attire: a baby shower, parent-teacher interview, wedding and more!

This is one of my current favorite dresses! I love the pink vertical stripes (super flattering) and cute tie at the front! Luckily for me, this dress is available in tall sizes so I was able to grab my typical size and it was long enough. This dress is affordable (under $60) and its breathable fabric allows you to stay cool during the summer months. This dress is also available in blue stripes and navy polka dots! I paired my dress with these open toe pumps (under $60) and a basic white tote (similar tote here).
