How Sanitize Your Makeup in Under 5 Minutes
My mother raised me to be a straight up germaphobe. Playing with the toys at the doctor’s office or any other waiting room was strictly prohibited. So were public countertops of any kind. Don’t get me started on airplanes or public washrooms. I learned at a young age to keep my hands to myself at all times. To this day I do everything in my power to avoid getting a cold or flu including having hand sanitizer on me at all times, washing my hands before meals, refusing to share drinks and avoiding sick people. If you’re my friend and you happen to be sick – you stay away sista! No seriously, get away from me. Luh you.
It was recently brought to my attention how freakin’ dirty my everyday makeup was (thanks to Instagram photoshoots!) and I sort of had a mini melt down. The products I used on my face every day were covered in fingerprints, foundation marks and an invisible army of germs and bacteria that make my stomach turn. I immediately ran to my secret stash of Wet Naps and got to work. Although I am somewhat embarrassed to display the state of my makeup – you will be amazed at how a quick 5 minute wipe down nearly saved my life (ie. rid my products of germs and made them super pretty).
