How I Built My Son’s Custom Closet
Before having my son, I knew I wanted to create a calming, fun, minimalist and whimsical closet in his nursery. In this post I will break down exactly how I created it and what closet organizers I used!
Closet Details:
My son’s closet is the IKEA Pax system. I chose it because you can customize every aspect of the closet. It offers an option with doors. I ripped out the existing closet doors and clothing racks in our nursery and placed two IKEA Pax frames inside. I love the way it turned out!

Acrylic In Drawer Divider
I love this in-drawer organizer divider! I use them in my closet for aesthetic purposes, but you can use them in any drawer! The size of the organizer can be altered and customized to fit your drawer!
These baby sized velvet hangers are perfect for displaying clothing! The best part? They will not let clothing slip off! They also come with velvet clips to add pants or shorts to matching sets! I also use the regular sized velvet hangers for my own closet!
Foldable Fabric Organizers
These foldable fabric dividers come in packs of 12 in different sizes in order to keep items organized within the drawers!
