Day dates can be super fun whether with a group of girlfriends or a date, it’s always fun to dress up a little. Dressy casual is my favorite style, so I thought I’d share an easy to re-create day date outfit. Today I’m teaming up with Marie from Marie’s Bazaar to share 2 affordable day date outfit ideas! For my outfit, I paired my favorite high-waisted shorts. I love how short they are – giving off a flirty vibe. While my exact shorts are sold out, here is a similar pair from the same brand. To balance out all the leg showing, I wore a pullover woven top (only $16, comes in 4 prints).

As for accessories, I wore my new favorite nude pumps under $60. I love the 3″ heels! As a tall girl, these pumps are perfect for first dates. While I love rocking a 4″ heel, I don’t always like being 6’2. These pumps are comfortable and the chunk heel makes them easy to walk in!

I paired my outfit with this gorgeous cross body bag for a pop of color. I borrowed this bag from my bestie Marie but I have the same bag in cream and I love it!
