Fun Things To Do In Toronto
I hope y’all had a great weekend! I’ve been spending some quality girl time with Meghan in Toronto the past few days – and thankfully the sun rays have been good to us. When we’re not lounging by the pool sipping on Starbucks and eating poolside snacks {Meghan’s specialty is mangos, brie cheese, and strawberries}, we are on the road, tunes blasting, exploring the city.
Saturday afternoon, after our morning ritual of lounging by the pool, Meg and I decided to take a walk through High Park. High Park is Toronto’s largest public park including 399 acres of hiking trails, sports facilities, a zoo, a dog park, waterfront, and 18 picnic areas. This place is enormous. Thankfully the sun finally got the memo Spring has sprung and beamed down the entire day. First on the agenda was to visit the zoo, complimentary to visitors of High Park. We encountered bison, llamas, peacocks, sheep and plenty of frisky reindeer. Love me some furry friends! Dogs are also permitted to walk through the zoo- it was fun to see them interact with the zoo animals!
After sight-seeing {lemonade in hand}, we came across the stunning waterfront. Surrounded by beautiful cherry trees and cherry blossoms, the High Park waterfront is absolutely breathtaking. We walked the shoreline, enjoying the view and greetings from a swan and numerous Canadian geese. Overall, definitely one of the most stunning parks I’ve been to. I’ll be back soon, High Park!
