If I’m being honest, I probably wear my hair down in loose, beachy waves 345/365 days of the year. Why? Because it’s easy and looks cute. I’m the type of person who just goes with what works.  Does anyone else order the exact same meal at every restaurant? *raises hand*. I’m a creature of habit, what can I say. So, today I wanted to challenge myself to come up with 3 super easy foolproof ways to elevate my everyday curls in under 1-minute. That’s right. This one is for all my lazy sisters out there. *Keep reading to the end of the post to see the 30-day hair challenge I’m taking on!*

These hairstyles are for those with 2nd, 3rd, or 4th-day curls. I know what you’re thinking – 4 days without washing your hair?! Yes, it’s possible. If you use gentle, yet effective shampoo and conditioner (ie. Nexxus Therapee Shampoo and Nexxus Humectress Conditioner) your hair can stay fresh for 4 whole days! The key is applying a great dry shampoo as soon as you feel oil buildup. For these looks, I used Nexxus Keraphix Refreshing Mist Dry Shampoo as it effectively removes ALL oil buildup on my hair (and I have oily roots!). I sprayed this dry shampoo directly on my roots, then ran my (clean) fingers through my roots to disperse evenly. Bonus: dry shampoo increases volume!

For my first look, I secured one side of my hair with two pearl and crystal embellished bobby pins. It literally took me 30-seconds to position them. I love this look as it helps to keep the hair out of your face (great for hot days!) and adds that perfect amount of sparkle. You can pick up embellished bobby pins at your local Target!

For the second look, I spiced up with everyday curls with an adorable pearl embellished headband. Headbands have been making a comeback and they’re cuter than ever! Adding a headband is an easy way to add dimension to your hair. Before applying the headband, I lightly backcombed my roots and used a medium hold hairspray to add volume. To switch things up, you can push all your hair back using a headband and securing it in place!

Lastly, you can elevate everyday curls with a crystal embellished hair ribbon. I chose to wear it across my forehead to create a boho vibe! I simply placed the ribbon across my forehead, then tied it into a bow at the back! This look is perfect for a more formal event!

And now for the 30-day hair challenge! As y’all know, I’ve been using Nexxus hair products obsessively this past year. So when Nexxus asked me if I would take on a 30-day challenge – using exclusively Nexxus products – I was delighted! So here’s the scoop: I’ll be using Nexxus Therapee Shampoo and Nexxus Humectress Conditioner starting today. This regime is salon crafted and designed to rejuvenate and moisturize your hair by giving it the moisturize your hair. I’ll make sure to check back in with you after the 30-day trial period to update you on the condition of my hair. I encourage you to do the challenge with me! You can pick up both products at your local Target! Both products smell heavenly and can be used on all hair types (including bleached hair!). Ps. My cousin and blogger BFF Ashley Brooke is taking on the 30-day Nexxus challenge too! Check out her post here!
