How To Style A Leopard Jacket

SHOP THE POST:

Happy New Year to all! I’ve taken some much needed time off to be with family, friends and disconnect from the online world. I am head over heels with my job – however it requires me to be online a lot more than I’d like to admit. I wanted to take some time for myself, re-evaluate my intentions with the blog and figure out how to connect with you even more. Just a reminder I am always an email away if you need any advice, details on pieces I feature – or just want to say hello! Email is the easiest (and fastest) way to get in touch with me – mashelle.blog@gmail.com.

Today I wanted to share a fun and playfule way to spice up a winter outfit – a leopard jacket! This leopard jacket was a steal and I fell in love as soon as I put it on! It gives that extra va va voom to any outfit! While the actual jacket is sold out, I also picked up this shorter moto jacket (the same brand) currently on sale for under $60. I found a similar jacket (style and length) here! I’m dying to pick up this leopard blazer for spring!

Marie and I had the pleasure of staying at the Andaz Ottawa (aka our favorite hotel in the city!) for a few days. We planned to shoot a few looks (and a YouTube video… more on that later!) so I brought my trusty marble suitcases (they also come in black!). I’ve used them for a several trips in the past few months and I absolutely adore them. First off, the marble print makes distinguishing which suitcase is yours at baggage claim a breeze (which is a lifesaver after a long flight when you’re groggy!). I also love how lightweight the suitcases are, allowing you to cram your suitcase full of necessities! Lastly, the rollers allow you to zip through the airport at record speed incase you’re running late for a flight (of course I know nothing about this… ahem).

I’ve been wearing this gorgeous camel scarf religiously for the past few weeks in Ottawa. It keeps me warm, yet is still stylish and looks great with so many outfits! It’s currently on sale for $24 so grab it while it’s still in stock! I’m also wearing some of my favorite ripped jeans and black suede over the knee boots! You’ve seen me style these boots over the past few months on Instagram and the blog – I can’t get enough of these boots! They’re perfect if you have smaller calves – they actually stay up! They’re also super comfortable – I can wear them all day without them hurting my feet. They fit true to size.
