Anyone else mourning their #NoChella lives?! I’ve decided to celebrate #FauxChella this year with a few festival-inspired outfits. Who says you can’t wear swimwear + kimonos + flower halos on the daily!? The lovely people at Target reached out to help me create a few easy and affordable swimwear-inspired festival styles. Y’all know my love for Target is infinite—from their dollar-bin section (AKA heaven) to their intricate swimwear selection. This year, one-piece swimsuits are all the rage and no longer known as the “cover-up”. For my first look, I paired this adorable Palm Print Strappy Halter Swimsuit with Mossimo High-Rise Distressed Jean Shorts and a white lace kimono. I love the bright and intricate design of this swimsuit and how comfortable it is! This bright and bold look was completed with a DIY floral headband (tutorial here) and temporary gold foil tattoos. This is a fun and easy look to re-create with Target’s selection of one-piece swimwear (see more of my favorites at the bottom of the post!).
For my second look, I decided to strut some seriously adorable patterned Xhilaration™ knit flares (similar here) with one of my current favorite Target one-piece swimsuits! Festival fashion is all about mixing unexpected patterns together for an eclectic vibe. I absolutely love the contrast between the two prints, along with the fringe detailing of this Mossimo Crossbody. Can you say adorable?! As you can see, Target makes it so easy to create festival outfits for a great price—enabling you to amplify your confidence and creativity!
I challenge you to hit your local Target and create a swimwear-inspired festival look! Whether it is for a music festival, pool party or shopping date with the girls, Target has an affordable selection of festival styles that will take your style to the next level! Make sure to snap a picture of your outfit and use the hashtag #TargetStyle to join in on the fun!
